FULLERTON, CA- For a sixth consecutive year, ‘Comedy Show for Autism’ is back in a sexy new way with national headlining comic SAM TRIPOLI performing a hybrid comedy and burlesque show, in support of Fullerton autism charities and special education programs, at the Fullerton Cares ‘Comedy Show for Autism’ at Fullerton Ballroom, 114 E. Commonwealth Ave, Fullerton, Wednesday, October 19, 2016, with pre-show reception at 5:30 p.m. and show from 7-10 p.m. [Tickets:]
Sam Tripoli brings elements of LA’s #1 live sexy interactive comedy burlesque show “THE NAUGHTY SHOW”  featured by The Comedy Store, on TMZ, and the LA Weekly Comedy Pick of the Week. The show combines today’s funniest comedians with the #1 burlesque group in LA, Les Dolls, together on the same stage. Additional comics include GREG SANTOS, JESSICA MICHELLE SINGLETON, GARETH REYNOLDS, and musical guest, DJ CRASH.

The 2015 Comedy Show for Autism raised $25,000 and hosted 500 attendees. Past shows have featured nationally headlining comics TOM GREEN, JIM JEFFRIES, CARLOS MENCIA, GEORGE PEREZ, and BRAD WILLIAMS.

The benefit comedy show is being held in the historic Fullerton Ballroom for the first time in 2016.

Says Summer Dabbs, Director at Fullerton Cares and involved in special education for over 20 years, “I am proud that we have the ability to make a difference and spread autism awareness in our community.”

Says headliner Sam Tripoli, “I have cousins who have autism and I think it is something that affects all of us. I think we should all work together and unlock this mystery that affects all of us.”

ABOUT FULLERTON CARES: Awareness, acceptance and action are the pillars of Fullerton Cares, which spreads autism awareness throughout North Orange County and was founded by Lawrence Houser, after being inspired by his son, Boyd, 7, with autism. Raising funds for autism charities and programs in Fullerton schools through organized events, Fullerton Cares was founded in 2010 and has raised over $95,000 for autism initiatives.
